Both revealed the latest exciting plans for the Stadium redevelopment and gave an update on the process in place for planning permission as a series of consultation events and meetings with local stakeholders have taken place prior to the application being submitted.
Both took questions from the floor as an enthralled audience took the opportunity to find out more as the planned development is set to be a major investment in the heart of Croydon, overhauling a stadium which has been the club’s home since 1924 and providing new year-round community facilities as well as transforming the matchday experience for supporters.
The lunch hosted by Palace’s Commercial Director, Barry Webber, saw the Business Club audience enjoy a superb three course meal, fine wines provided by Farr Vintners and the opportunity to network in the superb surroundings of the Stanley Stephenson Lounge. We were delighted to welcome just under 200 attendees with over 60 companies represented from across the London and South East business community who took the opportunity to enjoy open networking and making new connections.
The guests at this sell-out event also enjoyed a tour of the stadium, an excellent raffle, with all proceeds going to the Palace For Life Foundation.
